ABOUT ME
Theo Warnier (1996) is a Dutch filmmaker and writer from Amsterdam. He studied philosophy at the University of Amsterdam and spent a year at the Freie Universität Berlin before obtaining a master's degree in film at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent, including an exchange in Videography at the École de Recherche Graphique (ERG) in Brussels. He has written about film and culture for Sabzian and Het Parool. In his work, he investigates how cinema helps us grasp reality precisely through the distance the medium maintains from it, not as a window onto the world, but as a musical notation for the viewer's own imagination.
